ABCC - Member Data Protection Policy
Alyth and Blairgowrie Camera Club (ABCC) is established with the objects as set out in its Constitution.
This policy explains how member personal information will be used and managed by the Alyth and Blairgowrie Camera Club.
WHY:
ABCC collects and holds personal information for the purpose of club administration and for communication with club members.
WHO:
The club will primarily contact the below via their email address
The committee and club members,
Judges, Lecturers, and others assisting in club activities.
WHAT:
Personal information referred to in this Policy may include;
Contact Details: Name, home address, email and phone number
Members should contact the Secretary to verify/amend details.
WHEN:
Member details are collected after joining the club.
Information is deleted on member request or when leaving ABCC.
HOW:
Member details will be collected on a paper form, which will be destroyed once the information is recorded digitally.
Digital information will be password protected, only available to the Secretary, Treasurer, Chairman, or committee members.
Member details will not be passed to a third party without the relevant members permission.
USE: (Of personal information)
Circulation of club information for administration or event purposes. e.g. emails relating to meeting minutes, competition details, events, and any other ABCC information.

ABCC officials contact details are not published generally, including on our Website or Facebook page.
External contact to the club is directed through the ABCC email address info@abccameraclub.com.
Committee members will regularly check incoming mail or queries, and respond as required.
